OFFICE/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Brooklyn CPA firm located in Manhattan Beach, near Kingsborough Community
College is seeking a positive, professional and friendly addition to the team
who will assist and provide administrative support for this busy firm. If you
enjoy a multifaceted office and diverse responsibilities, this position is for
you.
Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft
Office- Outlook, Word, Excel and have a positive attitude to do whatever it
takes to get the job done. Experience in QuickBooks is a requirement.
Prior experience with a CPA firm is a plus and the ideal candidate must be able
to work overtime and Saturdays during the busy tax filing periods.
Duties
will include but not be limited to:
· Entering checks/deposits and doing bank reconciliations in QuickBooks
· Bookkeeping experience
· Type letters, invoices and reports
· Filing
· Sorting and distributing mail and incoming faxes
· Work independently and provide support for CPAs including processing client tax returns and financial statements
· Process electronic and paper copies of client income tax return forms and documents
· Assist and coordinate with partners, managers and staff with all office activities
· Data entry
· Answer emails and direct incoming calls
· Prompt and professional client correspondence
· Being detailed oriented with excellent writing and verbal communication skills
· Office organization
